Guardians' Sabrowski Lost His Voice Striking Out Munetaka Murakami with Bases Loaded vs. White Sox

Erik Sabrowski faced one batter during the Cleveland Guardians' 2-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox in Saturday's decisive Game 5 of their American League Division Series.
And all he did was record arguably the most important out of the entire series and lose his voice in the process.
Zack Meisel of The Athletic reported Sabrowski could only talk with a "hoarse voice" after the win because "he unleashed a primal scream after striking out Munetaka Murakami with the bases loaded in the sixth."

The southpaw was trying to yell that Cleveland should "build a f----ng statue" with that voice when talking about José Ramírez, who launched a two-run homer in the fourth for what proved to be the game's only scoring.
Ramírez also hit a home run during the Guardians' Game 4 win in Chicago to keep their season alive and is a franchise icon at this point in his 14th season with the team.
But his home run wouldn't have been enough if it wasn't for Sabrowski's key strikeout. He entered the game in the top of the sixth inning for starter Gavin Williams with the bases loaded and two outs and struck out Chicago's leading home-run hitter in Murakami.
That was the end of his day, as Hunter Gaddis entered for Cleveland in the top of the seventh before Cade Smith eventually took over for the save.
Next up for Cleveland is the American League Championship Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, where it will need Sabrowski for more critical moments against left-handed hitters such as Jonathan Aranda and Liam Hicks.
And it will need him whether he has a voice or not.
