Knicks' Josh Hart Trolls Donovan Mitchell After Mets' Elimination from MLB Playoff Contention

Three months after New York Knicks ended the Cleveland Cavaliers' season in the Eastern Conference Finals, Josh Hart got another win over Donovan Mitchell on Monday night.

Hart trolled Mitchell on social media after the New York Mets were officially eliminated from MLB playoff contention.

Hart and Mitchell have had a friendly rivalry over their respective MLB fandoms. Hart roots for the Yankees, who clinched a playoff spot on Monday night to add insult to proceedings for the Cavs star.

Mitchell is a fan of the Mets, in addition to having a family connection to the franchise since his father has worked for the club since 1999.

The Mets have now missed the postseason eight times in the past 10 seasons.
