Fernando Tatis Jr.'s HR Robbery vs. Mets Captured in Epic New Photo from Padres Win

San Diego Padres star right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. had one of the most epic performances of the season in Tuesday night's 5-2 win over the New York Mets.

In addition to hitting two home runs and driving in three of the Padres' five runs, Tatis helped preserve the victory when he robbed Mets star shortstop Francisco Lindor of a grand slam in the second inning. After soaring over the wall to make the improbable catch, Tatis played it cool and nonchalantly flipped the ball into his hand:

Thanks to Tatis' heroics, the Padres (68-59) have now won eight of their last 10 games and are clinging to a two-game lead for the final wild-card spot in the National League entering Wednesday's series finale against the Mets (57-70).
