MLB Playoffs 2026 Schedule, TV Info, Dates for Entire World Series Bracket

Teams competing in the Wild Card Series of the 2026 MLB playoffs will have one day to rest and recuperate from the regular season before they'll be back in action.

The Atlanta Braves will host the Philadelphia Phillies at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday in the first of four games. The best-of-three round will continue through Thursday.

The New York Yankees are the last team to achieve a three-peat in MLB, winning the World Series from 1998-2000. Then you have to go back to the 1974 Oakland Athletics to find the most recent franchise before that to go three in a row.

History isn't on the Los Angeles Dodgers' side, but they're nonetheless the betting favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook . Their moneyline (+230) does at least point to the general uncertainty over whether L.A. can be the last team standing once again.

Maybe this is the year the Milwaukee Brewers (+490) finally claim the pennant after consistently hitting a wall in October.

The Brewers have been consistent winners in the regular season with eight playoff appearances over the past nine seasons. Failing to reach the World Series during this kind of run will be a big disappointment, though, all the more so for a franchise without a lot of success through the decades.

The American League is wide open with only the Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays getting to 90-plus wins.

The Rays are a bit like Milwaukee in that the postseason is when their lack of serious star power comes back to bite them. For the Bronx Bombers, the availability and health of Aaron Judge is a major storyline.

That could present a golden opportunity for an underdog such as the Cleveland Guardians or Chicago White Sox to catch fire and advance all the way to the Fall Classic.
