MLB Fan Attends 3 Yankees, Mets Games in 1 Day in Trending Videos, Photos

A New York City baseball fan managed a rare cross-city feat on Saturday.

The New York Yankees' doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox was sandwiched on both sides of the New York Mets' afternoon game against the Houston Astros.

Celtics Blog's Ian Inangelo chronicled his experience going to all three games in a series of posts on social media on Saturday.

According to Inangelo's posts, he attended the 1:05 p.m. ET first half of the Yankees doubleheader and left in the top of the ninth.

He arrived in Queens to see the 4:10 p.m. ET Mets game in the third inning, then left in the sixth inning to return to the Bronx for the 7:15 p.m. ET conclusion of the Yankees double-header.

The Yankees were shut out 6-0 by the Red Sox in the first game of their doubleheader. The Mets celebrated a more successful day after a 6-2 win over the visiting Astros.

The Bronx club will now seek redemption and look to gain ground in the AL Wild Card race in their second matchup of the day against the Red Sox.
