Saudi Arabia's government media office did not immediately respond to a request for comment. As per Reuters, Saudi civil defence sent the alerts by phone overnight for potential danger in Riyadh and the city of Al-Kharj east of the capital, before issuing an all-clear on Saturday morning.The Houthis, who control large parts of northern Yemen, have intensified attacks on Saudi Arabia amid the renewed conflict in Yemen.
