Ketan Agarwal murder: Friend of Chetan Choudhary held for conspiracy, 3rd arrest in case

PUNE: Pune Rural Police have arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly being part of the conspiracy to kill realtor Ketan Agarwal at Lohagad Fort in June, making him the third accused to be held in the case, officials said on Saturday.The arrested man, Ritesh Hange, is a friend of Chetan Choudhary, who police allege was in a relationship with Agarwal's fiancée, Siya Goyal.Police said Goyal, 20, and Choudhary, 22, allegedly pushed Agarwal off a cliff at Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18, resulting in his death."During the investigation, it came to light that Ritesh was involved in the planning of Ketan Agarwal's murder," Pune Rural superintendent of police Sandip Singh Gill said.Hange has been arrested for his alleged role in the murder conspiracy, he said.Third arrest in Ketan Agarwal murder caseAnother police officer said Hange had been involved in planning the murder along with Choudhary and Goyal."He was aware of the earlier plan of Goyal and Chaudhary to injure Ketan by breaking his hands and legs and subsequently eliminate him.
