Oosterwolde’s entourage confident player will pass medical

Roma was ready to welcome Jayden Oosterwolde to Trigoria yesterday.

The Dutchman arrived in Rome this morning, landing at Ciampino Airport on a flight from Amsterdam to begin his Giallorossi adventure.

However, the 2001-born defender had some trouble passing his medical.

As is well known, the Fenerbahçe defender is struggling with an injury, and the Giallorossi club wants to have a clear picture before adding the player to their squad. Today, Roma will decide whether to sign Oosterwolde or take a step back.

The deal, if necessary, will be concluded on a one-off loan worth €1 million with a €15 million option to buy, which could become a mandatory buyout with 15 appearances of 45 minutes each. On the player side, optimism is filtering through.

According to Matteo Moretto, those managing the 2001-born player's interests have leaked that the most likely scenario is for the deal to go through, despite the additional medical tests scheduled for today. Roma's final decision, however, remains dependent on the medical verdict.
