Massive landslides and catastrophic flash floods have wreaked havoc at the Nepal-China border, destroying houses, wiping out bridges and killing at least 538 people since the landslide on August 26. Additionally, around 2,500 people are currently missing. Now all eyes are on two newly formed lakes, created by the landslide. One of the lakes began overflowing Friday, according to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, posing a risk of landslides or flash flooding. Video footage and satellite imagery shows the immense scale of the disaster in some of the areas hit hardest by the floods.
