Café staff assaulted with sticks by tourists in Uttarakhand's Mussoorie, video surfaces

MUSSOORIE: Incidents involving altercations between tourists and locals are increasing across the hill town.A video recently surfaced on social media showing tourists allegedly assaulting the operators of a café.The incident reportedly took place on September 15 at Yummies Café in Kincraig, where café staff were allegedly attacked with sticks by a group of tourists, reportedly from Haryana.According to café staff, the tourists fled the scene after the incident."We have submitted a written complaint to the police, but the tourists could not be traced," a café staff member said.Several videos of clashes between tourists and locals have surfaced in recent months. One video showed a brawl between tourists and locals at the Picture Palace barrier over the entry of vehicles onto Mall Road.
