Rs 21.4 lakh for replenishing ATMs looted from cash firm staffer in Bokaro

Bokaro: Two motorcycle-borne men looted Rs 21.4 lakh from an employee of a cash management firm while he was out to replenish two ATMs on Saturday.Vijay Kumar, an employee of Hitachi Cash Management Services, had withdrawn the money from the Naya More branch of Axis Bank and was heading to replenish ATMs in Kurmidih and Balidih on his two-wheeler when two men intercepted him on a motorcycle near Bokaro Nath Dham Shiv Temple under Marafari police station limits.The duo allegedly assaulted Kumar before fleeing with the cash. Kumar later informed the police that he was carrying more money than usual as banks will remain closed for two days next week due to Durga Puja.Stay updated with the latest Ranchi news.
