Monday is the last day before Canada’s “dollar for dollar” retaliatory tariffs are set to go into effect, two weeks after President Trump put 50 percent levies on $27.6 billion worth of Canadian products.

There have not been reports of renewed negotiations between the two countries.

“Canada’s Dollar imbalance with the U.S. is unacceptable,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday . “It has been that way for years — but no longer!”
