IJustLovePuzzles reveals ‘five’ attempts to end her life, says financial stress worsened her struggles while helping daughter

Twitch streamer IJustLovePuzzles, also known as Gma, has spoken publicly about her past suicide attempts and the financial pressure that made her mental health struggles harder to manage. In a post on X on September 6, 2026, she said she had attempted suicide five times and needed a full year to recover from her most recent attempt. She also explained that financial stress was a major part of those crises. Her comments came shortly after she started a GoFundMe campaign seeking financial help for her daughter, who she says is dealing with serious emotional and financial problems.IJustLovePuzzles says financial stress played a major role in her suicide attemptsIJustLovePuzzles, who has built her Twitch community around solving jigsaw puzzles, said her previous suicide attempts were not caused by one issue alone. She explained that mental health problems and financial pressure often came together.She wrote on X:“I attempted suicide five times. It took me a full year to recover from my last attempt. I was told it's a miracle I survived. Not one time was it because of Major Depression or flashbacks from PTSD alone. It was always a combination of one of those plus financial stress. My older sister cleared all my debt and paid six months' mortgage and utilities so I could focus solely on therapy and healing from my trauma. That's controlling what you can look like when you want someone you care about to live. Feeling hopeless and helpless will drive you to your death.”Her comments give more context to the fundraising campaign she created for her daughter. IJustLovePuzzles said she recognized some of the same pressure in her daughter's situation and wanted to help before it became worse.IJustLovePuzzles was also recognized at both major creator events this year. IJustLovePuzzles also said her daughter had to leave her apartment early and was being asked to make payments immediately. She added that her daughter did not have a place to stay and had been sleeping without a bed for a month.She also described problems with her daughter's car, saying its air conditioning was not working while she was commuting about an hour to work in the heat.She wrote:“Help me save my daughter's life! I'm coming to you all because I have nowhere else to go. I need to raise money for my baby girl. She is in a desperate situation from financial stress and emotional strain from escaping a very toxic situation. I know firsthand that major depression and financial stress can be a deadly combination. Her health insurance stopped. She hasn't been able to see her therapist. She's been out of meds. She had to leave an apartment early and they are asking for money from her immediately, and she doesn't have a place to stay. She hasn't slept on a bed in a month. The AC is out in her car and she's commuting an hour to work in the heat. She needs help.”The GoFundMe campaign lists a $24,000 goal and identifies IJustLovePuzzles Gma as the organizer.For IJustLovePuzzles, the fundraising effort is closely tied to what she has experienced herself.
