Kai Trump, the 19-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his former wife Vanessa Trump, has given her YouTube subscribers a glimpse inside the luxury two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment she is calling home after beginning her freshman year at the University of Miami.Kai recently started her studies at the Florida university, where she is also a member of the women’s golf team. Rather than living in a traditional college dorm, the teenager has opted for a spacious apartment and has been documenting her new life in Miami on her YouTube channel.In one of her latest vlogs, Kai took viewers inside her apartment, showcasing its modern interiors, sleek finishes and pristine new appliances.Modern kitchen opens into the living roomKai began the tour with what she described as her favourite part of the apartment, the kitchen.The open-plan space features a large white countertop, while the refrigerator and other appliances are built into the cabinetry and concealed behind dark oak wood finishes. The kitchen island is lined with metallic silver barstools and matching placemats, giving the space a polished, contemporary look.The kitchen opens directly into the living room, where Kai has kept the decor relatively understated. A large white sofa with wide seats dominates the room, complemented by grey throw pillows.The apartment also features a fireplace, which Kai singled out as one of the coolest elements of her home.“Got my fireplace, which is like I think the coolest part of this,” she said while walking viewers through the space.Kai adds personal touches to her Miami homeDespite the apartment’s polished interiors, Kai has added several personal touches that reflect her interests and family.She pointed out an Aspen-themed piece that she said she had hung herself, explaining that she loves skiing and Aspen. She said having her own space has been particularly enjoyable after long days on the golf course.“It’s really nice coming home to no one,” she said. “And after a long day on golf course it’s always nice to just chill here and do nothing.”Kai, whose parents are Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, also opened up about adjusting to college life and her experience with the University of Miami women’s golf team.“College has been great. I love my team very, very much. They all become like my best friends already,” Kai said, while praising her coaches as “amazing.”“Miami is the place to be, to be honest with you. I’m very happy that I chose Miami and I’m here. And I love it so far.”Kai said the experience has been “crazy” but that having her own apartment has helped her embrace the independence that comes with starting college.“It’s nice to have my own stuff and to, you know, live my own and start my next chapter in my life,” she said.Golf remains a major part of Kai Trump’s college lifeAlongside her studies, Kai is preparing for a busy college golf schedule.
