9 dead in 3 days after consuming spurious liquor in Nagaland

DIMAPUR: At least nine people have died at Tuensang district hospital over the past three days after reportedly consuming spurious liquor, prompting Nagaland director general of police Rupin Sharma to issue an alert advising people to abstain from drinking alcohol.The victims reportedly complained of breathlessness after consuming the suspected adulterated liquor.
