Hot mic catches ESPN announcer comparing North Carolina QB to a lousy hotel breakfast
Tom Hart's hot mic moment compared UNC quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. to a disappointing hotel breakfast during the Tar Heels' game against Pitt.
An ESPN play-by-play announcer was caught on a hot mic making one of the greatest comparisons in broadcast history to describe UNC quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. The Tar Heels came into the weekend at 2-2 after getting off to a solid 2-0 start and had a tough test against undefeated Pitt. So yes, I can understand the urge to flame a college football player after experiencing a letdown like that.
