UP Police HQ in Lucknow held a condolence meeting for retired IPS Dr Trinath Mishra, ex-DGP Manipur and former CRPF chief, who died Oct 1 at 83.
Lucknow: The UP police headquarters in Lucknow on Tuesday held a condolence meeting to pay tributes to retired IPS officer Dr Trinath Mishra, who died on Oct 1 at the age of 83.Director General of Police Rajeev Krishna and senior police officers paid homage to the 1965-batch UP-cadre officer, who served for over 37 years in key state and Central assignments.Born on Dec 30, 1942, in Ranchi, Mishra served as superintendent of police in Ghazipur, Bulandshahr and Azamgarh, besides holding senior positions in Meerut, Varanasi and the Kumbh Mela administration.On Central deputation, he served in the CRPF, CISF, CBI, Special Protection Group and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.
