The royal family’s doctor found dead at home; husband arrested for murder

( NewsNation ) — A doctor who has treated member Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family was allegedly murdered by her husband over the weekend.
Dr. Hannah Cain was killed on Sunday while hosting a sleepover for her three children, prosecutors shared Wednesday, according to the BBC .
Prosecutors Jacqui Hanlon told the Norwich Magistrates’ Court that Cain was discovered in the upstairs bedroom of her West Sussex home, unconscious and not breathing.
She suffered “blunt force injury to the right side of her head” and appeared to have an injury suggesting she was choked, Hanlon said.
Her husband, Mark Cain, was arrested and charged with Hanna’s murder .
Mark Cain did not enter a plea during his initial court appearance. His next hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
Hannah Cain was a general practitioner in a team of doctors at Grimston Medical Center who were on call for the royal family .
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of our much-loved and highly respected colleague, Dr Hannah Terry,” the National Health Service told the BBC in a statement.
NHS added, “Hannah was an exceptional doctor and a deeply valued member of our NHS and primary care community. Highly intelligent, kind and generous, she brought warmth and positivity to those around her.”
The royal family has not commented on her death.
