“I’m not a victim”: Cinna breaks down after reaching a huge Twitch milestone and opens up about the pressure affecting her mental health

Brittany “Cinna” Watts became emotional during her Cinnathon stream after reaching around 80,000 active Twitch subscribers on August 24. The milestone made her the most-subscribed female streamer at the time, based on active subscribers. Instead of simply celebrating, Cinna opened up about how the pressure around her work has affected her mental health. She thanked viewers and her cameraman, Rosii, for standing by her. TwitchTracker also showed 79,231 as her all-time high.A Cinnathon tracker recorded more than 75,000 new subscribers since August 1, taking her from about 5,000 subscribers at the start of the event to more than 80,000 by August 24.During the event, Cinna gained more than 100,000 Twitch followers, showing that the subscriber record was not the only sign of growth. TwitchMetrics reported an average of about 8,800 viewers across her streams during the 30-day period.On day 24, she said the attention and pressure had been affecting her mental health.“Obviously, I’m a human. It’s ****ing with my mental health a lot, but the thing that makes it great is you guys, and I just want to say thank you so much.”She then began crying and spoke about her work. Cinna also gave credit to Rosii, who has worked with her during Cinnathon.“I think that I put in a lot of work into everything that I try to do. I know Rosii puts in a lot of work, and I think I am in a constant state of… I feel like I’m constantly being discredited all the time, and just **** on. I’m not a victim.
