The FA WNL Cup Group Stage returns on Thursday, with Leeds United Women marking entrance into the competition with a visit to Yorkshire rivals Halifax Women.
Ahead of the Group T clash, Whites full-back Darcie Greene spoke to leedsunited.com.
"Feeling very good. We've had two excellent results in the first two games of the season, and we are hoping to carry that momentum into the cup match," Greene began.
"However, we are aware that this is just the beginning of the season, and it will only get harder, so we have to be prepared.
"We know Halifax are going to be a tough opponent. We know they've recruited well and will be looking to win the game. We've just got to carry the momentum from the last two victories and compete for another win."
The left-back secured an assist double on Sunday as Leeds ran out 3-0 victors in the FA WNL Division One North clash with Chester-le-Street Town Ladies.
On the attacking side of her game, Darcie added: "Very pleased. I will always look back on my performance and see where I can improve, but being able to contribute to the team in any way is fantastic.
"We know the league is the most important but we obviously want to try to win every game, including the cup matches, and progress as far as we possibly can."
