Florida high school football game delivers one of the most stunning Hail Marys of all time

Another week, another wild moment in the world of high school football. How great are Football Fridays? Lordy, I'm glad they're back. Just the best. The latest chaotic scene unfolded in Florida (of course), where No. 9 Pahokee — a longtime powerhouse — pulled off one of the most incredible double-pass Hail Marys of all time to stun Royal Palm Beach on the final play of Friday's showdown. Drawing up a bubble screen lateral from your own 25, and the trusting that the receiver A) stays behind the line of scrimmage, and then B) gets the ball down field enough to give his guy a chance is such a ballsy play to draw up. Obviously, the receiver had to then make a play — jumping over two guys, breaking a few tackles, and then racing to the end zone as time expired. I had no doubt that last part would happen, by the way. Pahokee is notorious for speed. For those who don't know, they have a long-standing tradition of chasing rabbits in sugarcane fields down there. True story.
