Raipur: Raipur airport’s winter schedule will bring a mix of earlier starts, earlier wrap-ups and one important regional addition from Oct 25, with the first Delhi flight moving 30 minutes ahead, the day’s last departure shifting earlier and Ambikapur joining Alliance Air’s network.Under the new schedule, the first flight of the day — Air India’s Delhi service — will leave at 7.55am instead of 8.25am. At the other end of the day, the final departure from Swami Vivekananda Airport will move up from 10pm to 9.35pm, effectively shortening the airport’s operating window for scheduled passenger departures.Air India will continue to operate three flights, with its last departure remaining unchanged at 8.45pm. The airline is also bringing back its afternoon Delhi-Raipur service, which had been withdrawn during the summer schedule. The flight will leave Delhi at 11.10am and reach Raipur at 12.55pm.Its winter timetable will remain in force till March 27.Ambikapur gets a place on Alliance Air mapThe more significant connectivity change comes from Alliance Air. Besides Rewa and Jagdalpur, the carrier will now connect Ambikapur as well.Flights to Rewa will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while Ambikapur and Jagdalpur will be served on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Hyderabad-Jagdalpur aircraft will also be used for the Raipur-Ambikapur sector, operating the regional circuit with an ATR aircraft before returning to Hyderabad in the evening. The addition gives Raipur a direct air link to Ambikapur under the winter schedule, expanding regional connectivity within Chhattisgarh.IndiGo keeps 15-city footprintIndiGo, which currently operates an average of around 25 flights a day from Raipur, will retain its existing network of 15 destinations — Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Goa, Bhopal, Jagdalpur, Indore, Pune and Navi Mumbai. There will be no change in the sectors served, but flight frequency will vary by day, with Wednesday emerging as the busiest day for IndiGo operations under the new schedule. For passengers, the biggest practical takeaway is timing: the day will start earlier and finish earlier, while those travelling to Delhi and Ambikapur will get revised or restored options under the winter plan. You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Raipur | Silver Rate in Raipur | Bank Holidays in Raipur | Public Holidays in Raipur | Raipur AQI | Weather in Raipur | Petrol Price in Raipur | Diesel Price in Raipur | CNG Price in Raipur | LPG Price in RaipurStay updated with the latest Raipur news.
