Teen girl raped by uncle & his 2 aides, forced to undergo abortion

Kanpur: A 15-year-old Class 9 student in Kanpur has accused her maternal uncle and two of his friends of sexually abusing her over a period of six months.The case came to light after it was found that the girl was over four months pregnant. Her mother has alleged that the girl’s maternal grandparents, uncle and aunt, with the help of the accused, got her abortion conducted without informing her family. She further alleged that all those involved are absconding.According to the complaint, the student was living with her maternal grandparents and pursuing her studies in Class 9 when the alleged abuse took place. The girl has accused her maternal uncle and two of his friends of repeatedly assaulting her during this period.The mother alleged that after the family at her parental home came to know about the pregnancy, the girl’s abortion was carried out secretly and she was later dropped back at her residence. After returning home, the girl became withdrawn and distressed.
