Capricorn Shani Horoscope Today, 21 October 2026: Moon wants you to control your speech and post-festive spending

Words and wallets both need a firm hand this Wednesday, Capricorn. The Moon moves through Shatabhisha in Aquarius, your second house of speech and savings, sitting beside Rahu. Aquarius is ruled by Shani, your own planet, which is retrograde in your third house of communication. With Diwali only a few weeks away, today is the time to set a sensible pace.Rahu and the Second-House MoonRahu tends to exaggerate. With the Moon beside it in your second, a casual comment about a relative’s spending or a friend’s new car may come out harsher than you mean.Think twice before joking about money at family gatherings. Shatabhisha favours quiet reflection, so use fewer words today.Post-Festive SpendingAfter Navratri and Dussehra, sales continue, and Diwali shopping lists start to grow. The second house holds savings, and the Moon’s position asks you to protect them.Make a Diwali budget now and move that amount into a separate account. Skip post-Dussehra sales unless you already needed the item.Shani’s Discipline in the ThirdRetrograde Shani in your third asks you to communicate with restraint. Short, factual messages work better than long explanations, especially with siblings.Mercury, slowing in your tenth before its retrograde, may delay a work payment. Plan spending around money already in hand.Partners and JupiterExalted Jupiter in your seventh brings a spouse’s sound advice on money. Debilitated Mars there may cause friction if you criticise their spending. Discuss budgets without assigning blame.Do’s for TodayMake a Diwali budget today.Use fewer words at family gatherings.Don’ts for TodayAvoid shopping in sales just because prices seem low.Do not joke about other people’s spending.Shani Remedy for TodayDonate leftover festival sweets to a shelter.
