NEW DELHI: A jilted lover who abducted a girl's 11-year-old brother and threatened to kill him unless she married him was hospitalised after consuming.
NEW DELHI: A jilted lover who abducted a girl's 11-year-old brother and threatened to kill him unless she married him was hospitalised after consuming poison during a 22-kilometre police chase here when cops were about to arrest him, police said on Saturday.Officials said the accused, Dharam Pal, a resident of Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh, was immediately shifted to BJRM Hospital, where he remains in custody.The boy had left home for school on August 31 but did not return. Police said he was rescued from Azadpur Flyover on Friday after they chased the accused from Loni in Ghaziabad to Delhi, covering a distance of about 22 kilometres.
