Man arrested after boy, 11, injured in Manchester 'dog attack'
Three dogs were allegedly "out of control" in the Newton Heath area of Manchester, police say.
A man has been arrested after an 11-year-old boy was injured in an alleged dog attack.
Three dogs were reported to be "out of control" in the Scotland Hall Road area of Newton Heath in north Manchester at about 16:00 BST on Thursday, Greater Manchester Police said.
The force said one dog was seized and the other two were placed in kennels. The boy suffered minor injuries.
A 31-year-old man has been held on suspicion of possessing an aggressive animal.
The force has not confirmed the breed of dog.
