Imagine driving your Ferrari or McLaren around a 3.2-mile race track, pulling into a private climate-controlled garage that can hold up to eight cars, and then heading upstairs to a luxury home overlooking the circuit.That is the idea behind Elsinore Ring, a planned private motorsports club near Lake Elsinore, California, being developed by NASCAR veteran and road-racing legend Boris Said, the New York Post reported.The project will combine a 22-turn race track with trackside garage residences designed for wealthy car enthusiasts.Said has described the project as a dream shaped by his decades of racing. “I’ve had the opportunity to drive some of the best race tracks ever built,” Said said on the track's AI-glam website.“And that experience has inspired a dream to build the ultimate private motorsport country club right here in Southern California.”Luxury homes built around the carsThe garage villas are designed to be more than parking spaces. Each residence will have about 1,300 square feet of climate-controlled garage space, with room for six to eight vehicles and integrated lifts.Above the garage, the residences will feature a bedroom, private office, gourmet kitchen, luxury bathroom and a large cinema display. Private balconies will overlook the race track.The project’s website describes the homes as being “finished to the standard of a luxury custom home”, with kitchens featuring “premium designer appliances, stone countertops with waterfall edges, and custom cabinetry," the Autoweek reported.The development is planned with multiple garage-residence buildings, each offering direct views of the circuit. Select penthouse residences will also have access to private rooftop helipads.At the centre of Elsinore Ring will be a 3.2-mile, 22-turn circuit designed to FIA Grade 2 standards, with three configurations that could allow different sections of the track to operate simultaneously.The project is aimed at drivers of varying experience levels, with technical corners, sweeping sections and opportunities for overtaking.The wider development is planned to include a clubhouse, rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, fitness and wellness facilities, an event space and a dedicated race shop for vehicle maintenance and track preparation.The project is still in development and deposits are not yet being accepted. Said is reportedly targeting a 2030 opening.
