Eknath Shinde’s phone left behind on UK flight recovered in an hour

MUMBAI: DCM Eknath Sh­i­nde left his iPhone behind on a London Mumbai flight early Friday, leading to a frantic search. The phone, however, was retrieved by police in an hour from the British Airways flight and returned to him.Shinde was on a two-day visit to London starting Sep 5, and received the Commonw­ealth Leadership award and the Statesmanship award in the UK Parliament. Shinde’s plane landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 2am.
