First lady Melania Trump will give remarks from an elementary school in North Carolina on Tuesday, as the Trump administration promotes AI and technology in the education system.

Trump is also expected to tout the state’s resilience as it continues to recover Hurricane Helene , after the 2024 storm left lasting damage .

Her trip comes a day before President Trump travels to the Tar Heel State to rally support for former RNC Chair Michael Whatley in his Senate race against former Gov. Roy Cooper (D). The men are running to replace retiring Sen. Thom Tillis (R).

The event in Ashe County, N.C., is scheduled to begin at 11:40 a.m. EDT.
