President Trump said on Tuesday that he had already spent over $300 million in the midterms to help Republicans as the GOP looks to stave off major losses in both chambers of Congress.

“…I am pleased to announce that, having to do with the Most Important Midterm Elections in our Country’s History, I have spent, or will be spending, over 400 Million Dollars by Election Day,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social .

“More than 300 Million Dollars has already been spent on Advertising, Direct and Indirect Voter Contact, Rallies, Rally Arenas, Telerallies, Get Out the Vote Programs, Election Integrity, and more,” Trump added.

MAGA Inc., the president’s super PAC, and Trump’s affiliated No Going Back PAC Inc. and Safety & Affordability PAC Inc. are expected to report their monthly federal campaign spending on Tuesday. None of the groups had reported their monthly campaign finance filings at the time of publication.

The president has previously vowed to spend between $400 million and $500 million to support Republicans in November. MAGA Inc. ended August with $415 million in the bank, and Republicans have pressed his political groups to spend heavily, especially in the Texas Senate race where Trump-endorsed Republican Ken Paxton is in a tight race against Democrat James Talarico.

Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) forecasts that Democrats have a 77 percent probability of taking back the House and a 56 percent of taking back the Senate as Republicans contend with Trump’s low approval ratings and high cost of living expenses.

MAGA Inc. and the president’s affiliated groups have primarily spent money in competitive Senate races in states like Texas, Alaska, Ohio and Michigan. They’ve also poured money into battleground seats and even some Republican-leaning House districts.

Republicans have a major fundraising advantage compared to their Democratic counterparts, buoyed further by the Supreme Court’s decision striking down federal limits on coordinated campaign spending between political parties and campaigns.

Still, Democrats have still raked in major amounts of cash, including $60 million raised from Talarico’s campaign alone this past fundraising quarter. Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) brought in $33 million from his campaign while Michigan Senate Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed raked in nearly $31 million.
