Watch live: Trump to headline first GOP midterm convention

President Trump will deliver the keynote address Wednesday evening as the Republican National Committee (RNC) kicks off its two-day midterm convention — the first of its kind — in Dallas.

A slew of other big-name speakers — including Attorney General Todd Blanche, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and a list of GOP lawmakers — will also give remarks. The convention , which has faced some doubts , comes less than eight weeks before the November elections, as Republicans fight to retain their majorities in the House and Senate next year.
