President Trump will visit the Pentagon on Friday morning to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City, Arlington, Va., and Pennsylvania.

A total of 2,977 people died in the incidents. At the Pentagon, 184 people died after American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Defense Department headquarters.

Vice President Vance and former Presidents George W. Bush, Clinton, Obama and Biden are attending the ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City. The Pentagon memorial will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.

Trump will be joined by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and first lady Melania Trump.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. EDT.
