Watch live: Marshall, Hamilton face off in final Kansas Senate debate

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) and his Democratic opponent Adam Hamilton are set to square off in their second and final debate Wednesday night.

The debate is hosted by Nexstar Media Group affiliate WDAF. Nexstar also owns The Hill.

Marshall is fighting for his political life in a race that wasn’t expected to be close just months ago. Kansas hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate since the 1930s.

Polling has shown the race to be essentially dead even, as Hamilton leads in the Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) polling average by 0.4 points.

President Trump made a stop in Kansas to campaign for Marshall on Monday, announcing an $8 billion program to provide relief to farmers dealing with high diesel costs.

The debate is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CDT.
