Watch live: Vance makes final midterm push in Michigan

Vice President Vance heads back to Michigan on Tuesday to shore up GOP support in key congressional races just one week before the midterms.

Vance is expected to rally voters in Howell, Mich., where incumbent Rep. Tom Barrett (R-Mich.) faces Democrat Will Lawrence in a competitive House race.

The visit also comes as Republicans look to flip Michigan’s open Senate seat , with former Rep. Mike Rogers (R) facing Democrat Abdul El-Sayed in the race to replace retiring Sen. Gary Peters (D).

It marks the vice president’s second stop in the Great Lakes State in less than two weeks. President Trump, who has also been on a campaign swing , rallied supporters in Port Huron just days before.

Both parties are pouring resources into the battleground state as the fight for control of Congress enters its final stretch.

Vance is expected to speak around 1:55 p.m. EDT.
