Melania Trump teases new docuseries with promise to answer ‘private questions’

Melania Trump is teasing a forthcoming docuseries that she says will be “very different” from her eponymous documentary, and in which she’ll open up and answer “private” questions.

“It’s more conversation, one-on-one with me,” Trump said of the project during a Wednesday interview on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends.”

“When I was traveling and doing all of the filming, the director was asking me questions, and there are some private questions that I will answer that people never heard before,” she added.

“It will come out this year, and it will be very different [than] what is in the movie,” Trump said. The first lady added that while an exact date for the docuseries’s premiere hadn’t been set, it would likely be released in November.

The debut of the series comes nearly a year after the theatrical premiere of “Melania,” the Brett Ratner-directed film which followed Trump in the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration. Trump served as an executive producer of the $40 million documentary from Amazon MGM Studios, which also reportedly included a $35 million marketing campaign.

Trump told ITK at the “Melania” world premiere at the Kennedy Center in January that cameras followed her “day and night” for the feature film.

In August, Ratner wrote on Instagram that he couldn’t “wait to share with everyone around the world the next two chapters of Melania, the docuseries!”

Trump confirmed on Wednesday that a pair of installments would make up the series.

The 56-year-old “Melania” author — in New York this week for the United Nations General Assembly as part of her Fostering the Future Together initiative and to launch her new effort , Imperia, aimed at advancing leadership and “economic power for women” — also gave her critique of President Trump’s remarks at the annual gathering. In his speech, Trump defended the U.S. war with Iran and said he was “not going to stifle growth” around artificial intelligence.

“I told him he had great delivery, he did very well, and a great speech,” Trump said.

“Sometimes he doesn’t want to hear it, what I tell him, but that’s OK. I always say the truth.”
