Live updates: Trump honors Artemis II astronauts at NASA; Warsh hints at potential Fed interest rate hike

President Trump on Friday is visiting the Johnson Space Center in Houston, where he will award Congressional Space Medals of Honor to the astronauts involved in the Artemis II mission.

Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh spoke Friday morning in Wyoming at the Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium and suggested the nation’s central bank could raise interest rates as inflation remains stubbornly high.

Warsh has opted for a less-is-more approach to communication in his first few months as Fed chair, leaving Fed watchers hungry for indications of how he’ll steer the agency.

The 2026 “Defend the Vote” March on Washington marks the anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 march. Organized by the Rev.
