Pro-Trump group releases first general election midterm ad

Securing American Greatness, the nonprofit arm of President Trump’s super PAC MAGA Inc., rolled out its first general election ads on Wednesday, featuring Trump front and center.

The ads are a part of a national ad buy. According to the political intelligence firm AdImpact, the group booked $995,000 starting on Wednesday.

While one of the ads mentions the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that was passed by Congress, the ads are largely focused on Trump and his agenda.

One ad features Trump ally and UFC President Dana White praising Trump before playing portions of his State of the Union address from earlier this year. The 30-second spot is overlaid with various videos of Trump.

Another 30-second ad features Trump touting the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, including provisions like no taxes on tips, overtime and social security. Trump is also heard in the spot touting the decrease in the price of eggs, his administration’s policies to lower prescription drug prices and telling major companies to pay for their own power needs.

“He’s fighting for you every day. Help him finish the job,” the narrator says.

The ads come as some Republicans have voiced frustrations that Trump is not spending enough of his money to defend the party’s narrow majority in Congress. However, Trump has signaled that he will spend more ahead of the midterms.

MAGA Inc spent more than $827,000 to support Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) in her primary runoff last month.

“Well, I’ve raised a lot, and nobody knows what it is, but I will tell you it’s about $850 million,” Trump told reporters ahead of a campaign rally for Graham last month. “I’ll be spending a lot of that money for — and my own money — but I’ll be spending a lot of that money for candidates that I think are good, Republican candidates.”
