Watch: Jeffries gives remarks amid Iran war, midterm pressure

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) gave remarks Wednesday morning as Democrats hope to retake control of Congress after November’s midterms, now less than two months away, and capitalize on backlash to President Trump’s agenda.

The House passed its third Iran war powers resolution Tuesday evening, seeking to bring an end to the more than six-month war with Iran. Concerns over rapidly evolving AI , Trump’s immigration and foreign policy agendas and affordability have provided fodder for the party.
