Trump: I could have done ‘bad things’ to Hillary Clinton, Biden, Obama

President Trump said he could have done “bad things” to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, along with former Presidents Obama and Biden, when asked about potential Democratic efforts to impeach him.

“I could have done very bad things to Hillary Clinton. I could have done very, very bad things to Joe Biden,” Trump said after he was asked what Democrats would impeach him for if the party wins back the House and the Senate in November.

“I could have done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama. I thought it was inappropriate to do so because you have to treat the office of the presidency with respect,” he continued, referring to the presidency as “sacred.”

Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) have told Republican voters that Democrats will impeach the president if they win the midterms.

The president was impeached twice during his first term in office. Trump was first impeached in response to a call to Ukrainian President Zelensky in which he pressured Ukraine to investigate Biden. He was later impeached following the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

Trump told reporters that Democrats do not know what they would impeach him for if they win back Congress in November.
