Greene condemns Loomer’s rhetoric: ‘This is Trump’s new MAGA and Republican Party’

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Sunday slammed right-wing influencer Laura Loomer’s remarks posted on social media, condemning them as President Trump’s “new MAGA and Republican Party.”

Greene reacted to an inflammatory post shared by Loomer on the social platform X directed at Florida state Rep. Angie Nixon (D), who is running for Senate. The former lawmaker wrote that while she does not support Nixon and is not a Democrat, “the Republican Party and President Trump owns Laura Loomer and her nonstop vitriol.”

“I 1000% denounce Laura Loomer and her nasty, hateful, racists comments. This is Trump’s new MAGA and Republican Party and I want nothing to do with it,” Greene wrote on X .

Greene called Loomer’s words “demeaning rhetoric” that “should not be tolerated. Ever.”

“But they allow it and keep her in the inner circle. Loomer hurts Republican Senator Ashley Moody in her race with these vicious attacks,” Greene wrote, referring to Nixon’s GOP opponent. “Just like Loomer has consistently hurt the Republican Party as she whispers nonstop insanity in the President’s ear.”

Loomer responded to Greene’s post with her own post defending her comments.

“This is the same MTG who hired Milo Yiannopoulos to work for her and let him live in her home where he plotted against President Trump and openly supported designated Islamic terror orgs like Hamas on social media and spread rumors that @POTUS faked his assassination attempt,” Loomer wrote, referring to the far-right provocateur and former intern of Greene’s who was detained and deported back to the United Kingdom last week.

Loomer has taken credit for reporting Yiannopoulos to federal authorities. White House border czar Tom Homan told CNN on Sunday that “a lot of people tipped ICE off” and that Loomer “probably was” among them.

“You are most definitely a Democrat, @mtgreenee and you own Milo more than anyone because you were aware of all of his activities and his immigration issues yet you still kept him around,” Loomer wrote. “I don’t work for the White House or President Trump. I am free to say whatever I want.”

Greene, a former close ally of the president, fell out of his favor following an open feud between the two. The former House Republican voiced her frustration over the administration’s handling of documents released to the public that either belonged to or were connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Her criticisms reached the president, who clapped back by dubbing her “ Marjorie Traitor Brown .” Greene resigned from Congress in January but has continued to criticize Trump and his administration , especially over the cost of living and the Iran war .
