President Trump and Education Secretary Linda McMahon will host students and parents at the White House on Monday for a Rose Garden event highlighting the administration’s school choice push as a new academic year begins.

Trump is expected to tout the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which expanded school choice by creating a federal tax credit for contributions to nonprofits that provide scholarships for learning-related expenses.

Education advocates and other stakeholders are also expected to attend.
