BJP’s Fatehabad MLA Chhote Lal Verma dies at Noida hospital

AGRA: BJP MLA from Agra’s Fatehabad assembly constituency, Chhote Lal Verma (68) died at a Noida hospital on Thursday evening while undergoing treatment.Verma had been suffering from fever for the past two days and was initially admitted to a private hospital in Agra after his condition deteriorated. As there was no significant improvement, his family decided to take him to Yatharth Hospital in Noida, where he died during treatment. Family sources said he suffered a cardiac arrest.The news of his death triggered an outpouring of grief among his supporters and BJP workers in Agra and Fatehabad.A former UP govt minister, Verma had represented Fatehabad constituency for the fourth time.
