A very dark night for Venezia, who after defeats to Lecce and Milan also lose at Frosinone and remain stuck on zero points in the table.

Raimondo opened the scoring with a brace, and Kvernadze wrapped it up. A brilliant Frosinone side, confidently set up by Alvini, gave the visitors a headache in the first 45 minutes. Venezia, who arrived in Serie A as champions after last season's promotion run in Serie B, are so far clearly the side struggling most among the newly promoted teams .

After the break, though, it was a completely different Venezia, largely thanks to the introduction of Yeboah . In the end, though, yet another lapse from the away defence — with Halhal caught sleeping — allowed Kvernadze to go through one-on-one with Stankovic and make it 3-2.

The reaction was not enough, encouraging as it was: Venezia remain on zero points and — perhaps even worse — have already lost two direct relegation battles (the first being against Lecce at the Penzo).

Their next outing already feels like a last chance, at home against Fiorentina . A match neither side can afford to get wrong. Frosinone, meanwhile, are enjoying a dream start!

Parma and Monza shared the spoils at the Tardini and picked up the first point of their season . It ended 1-1 in a balanced, hard-fought contest, with the visitors able to break the deadlock in the first half and the hosts doing well to respond after the break. Parma started more aggressively and tried to take control of the match right away, but Monza managed to absorb the pressure and threaten on the counter. Juric's side took the lead in the 38th minute through Robinson , who received the ball and unleashed a precise strike from the edge of the box that Corvi had no chance of stopping.

In the second half, though, it was a completely different Parma. Cuesta also made changes from the bench to give the team more energy, and the hosts' response was rewarded in the 60th minute: Valeri sent the ball into the area, it fell to Lontani , who placed a precise right-footed finish beyond the outstretched Thiam.

Both sides will regret not managing to claim their first win, but the response they showed after defeats in the opening two rounds is still a positive sign . Juric and Cuesta can build from this point, while knowing that a victory will soon be needed to truly turn their season around.
