Rob Kardashian Reacts to Recent Rare Photos of Him Going Viral, Jokes ‘I Felt Like I Looked Crazy’

Rob Kardashian is surprised by all the attention surrounding his recent public appearance .

The 39-year-old made a rare appearance at his sister Kim Kardashian's 46th birthday celebration in Beverly Hills on Oct. 20. Photos showed him smiling alongside his mom, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kim, Khloé Kardashian , Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner as they arrived at the SKIMS founder's bash.

Rob addressed the photos during a phone call with his ex Blac Chyna , who was livestreaming their conversation. "Oh, and I wanted to tell you, too, I [saw] your pictures on the internet. And everybody's like, 'Ooh, Rob! Rob!' They're going crazy over you," she said.

"I don't know why they're saying that," Rob said. "'Cause I felt like I looked crazy, but it's okay."

"Nah, never. You're being modest," the rapper, 38, who shares daughter Dream with Rob, said. "The pictures [are] fire."

"No, that's just how I feel," Rob said. "But it's all good."

Rob and Chyna got engaged in 2016, shortly after they began dating, and announced they were expecting their daughter Dream one month later. They welcomed Dream, now 9, that November.

The pair split publicly the following year and endured years of conflict, but their relationship has since improved. In 2025, a source told PEOPLE that the exes are "on good terms and things are going great ," and another insider shared that their dynamic is "surprisingly peaceful."

"They have both matured and are focused on what's best for Dream," the insider said.

Following Kim's birthday celebration, a source told PEOPLE that Rob has been "focused on his health and looks great."

"His sisters are very protective of him. They respect that he wants a quieter life, and there is no pressure for him to do what they do. They're happy that he's happier," the source said.

"Just because he's not part of their public lives doesn't mean that he's not part of their private lives. He's there for the celebrations, family gatherings and all the important moments. He's a great dad and a wonderful uncle."
