First preview drops for 'Brothers' as 'True Detective' stars reunite on Apple TV this September

For those of you who might not know, there's long been a running joke online that the two former "True Detective" stars might secretly be brothers. Now, it looks like Apple is leaning into the fun people online are having with the (obviously fake) theory. The preview for "Brothers" with the duo was released by Apple on Tuesday, and the limited series looks like it's going to be a ton of fun. Don't expect any "True Detective" vibes. Expect a heartwarming story full of jokes and fun storylines. A fun change of pace for Harrelson and McConaughey when they team up. One viewer wrote, "True detective season 2 is looking very different in tone than season 1." Another added, "Missed opportunity to call it "True Brothers!" A third commented, "A new version of Step Brothers with the cast of True Detective." The comments simply write themselves in this situation, and that's a good thing.
