Below Deck Star Nathan Gallagher Allegedly Axed from Bravo After ‘Choking’ Charges — Source

Below Deck star Nathan Gallagher reportedly won't appear in the upcoming season of the Bravo show. The update comes after the 27-year-old was arrested in Australia last December on domestic violence charges. The arrest came after an alleged altercation with an unnamed woman. He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault.

The allegations have cast uncertainty over Nathan's future with the franchise. He remains part of Season 11 while his legal case continues. However, reports suggest he will not return for Season 12.

An insider told The Sun , "Nathan was not cut from the current season while the court process plays out, but they do not condone the behavior of the charges made against him. He will not be on Season 12. It [has already been] filmed."

The complete Season 12 cast remains unconfirmed. However, a source said producers hire cast members on a season-by-season basis. The insider added, "In Nathan's case, though, it looks like that ship has sailed – pun intended. It seems likely he won't be back."

Police arrested Nathan in Sydney on Dec. 27, 2025, after an alleged altercation with a 29-year-old woman. Police said Nathan knew the woman but did not disclose her identity. She reportedly did not suffer serious injuries.

Nathan's statement and court documents appear to identify the woman as his former partner and Below Deck co-star Gael Cameron. Court records also reference an Apprehended Violence Application involving the pair. They welcomed their son, Kayden, in June 2025.

Speaking to Rolling Stone , Nathan acknowledged his mistakes but claimed he had evidence presenting a different account.

"I don't believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened," he said.

Nathan claimed public reports presented only one side. He said he had video footage, messages and other records from the night.

Authorities initially refused Nathan bail before later granting conditional bail. He will appear before Burwood Local Court in New South Wales on Sept. 1, 2026.
