Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Reportedly Facing Major Marriage Challenge Amid Claims Wedding Guests Are Angry at His Behavior— ‘Very Different’
Sources said they used to be "pretty much inseparable."
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce 's post-wedding life is about to get challenging.
According to Page Six , the couple—who tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026—will be spending a lot of time apart because of their "very different" work schedules.
"Taylor and Travis spent so much time together in the months leading up to the wedding, and they were pretty much inseparable," a source told the outlet. "Now they're settling into this new rhythm as a married couple and really enjoying what that feels like."
Swift and Kelce are reportedly still "soaking up the excitement" of exchanging vows, with the insider adding, "They both still light up when they refer to each other as husband and wife, and there's something really exciting and special about that for them."
However, they have to step out of the newlywed bubble and get back to their normal lives. It seems Swift has already done so, as the source revealed she's been "pouring herself into writing new music and is incredibly inspired creatively."
"Songwriting has been her main focus, and she's really excited about what's taking shape," they added.
As for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end? He's "completely dialed in on this NFL season right now," the insider said. "He's focused on football, his team, and having the best season he possibly can."
They continued, "He's been in talks with different networks and studios over the last few years about various projects, and there are definitely opportunities there for him when the time comes, but none of that is his priority right now."
Despite their schedules looking "very different now than they did in the months leading up to the wedding," Swift and Kelce are said to be "really enjoying finding their rhythm as a married couple."
This latest update on Swift and Kelce's marriage comes just after the three-time Super Bowl champion upset a few wedding guests with his recent comments about the star-studded ceremony.
At a post-Chiefs practice press conference, Kelce reflected on his "fun offseason" before discussing his wedding. "The wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us," he told reporters. "It was a crazy night, and it was full of a lot of celebrations."
Kelce also shared his excitement about getting married at MSG, saying, "It's kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, to be able to get married in there."
"I can't thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event," he noted. "It was perfect, and the AC was cooking, baby. That was the best part."
Kelce's comments reportedly struck a nerve, with some guests telling Hollywood insider Rob Shuter that they felt it was unfair that he could publicly discuss the wedding while they could not due to a strict NDA they were required to sign.
"So the bride and groom are allowed to talk about it, but we aren't?" a guest told Naughty But Nice . "It feels like there's always one rule for Taylor and another for everyone else."
Another went on to say, "Taylor and Travis can decide when to release details, photos or video because it's their wedding. But everyone else is expected to pretend they weren't even there."
Now, it's worth noting that since it was Swift and Kelce's wedding, they have every right to decide what elements get shared with the public. Fortunately for the power couple, some guests recognize and respect that choice.
"It's Taylor and Travis' wedding — of course they get to tell their own story," an insider explained. "They're the ones who got married. If they want to share memories from the night, that's their choice. The NDA was there to protect their privacy, not silence the couple."
