Post Malone’s Engagement Ring for Fiancée Christy Lee Boasts a Whopping Diamond Weighing 20-Plus Carats

Experts previously predicted to PEOPLE the whopping price tag of Lee's new rock, which could be in the millions

Post Malone had some help from his jeweler in designing the perfect engagement ring for his fiancée Christy Lee .

The "Circles" singer, 31, got engaged to Lee earlier this month. The news was announced through Lee's friend Marina Hollyer, who shared photos of the couple, including one of the bride-to-be flashing her giant diamond engagement ring , to her Instagram Stories on Aug. 19.

Now, Malone's jeweler is sharing the details behind the mega sparkler, which weighs over 20 carats, according to Isaac Bokhoor and Sam Tack's Angel City Jewelers .

"Blessed to have been able to work on this for my brother @postmalone What a project !" the company wrote on Instagram alongside photos and videos of the dazzling ring, which features a stone set on a gold band.

It's no surprise that the duo was the final choice for Malone, who has worn Angel City custom pieces, including his Dallas Cowboys diamond-encrusted pendant necklace (which TMZ reported to be worth $250,000 in 2019), throughout his career.

But before details of Lee's ring were confirmed, PEOPLE spoke with experts about the ring's possible price tag.

While the official price has yet to be disclosed, Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, now part of Blue Nile , says the rock might have a price tag that's close to $1 to $2 million. Ali Galgano , founder of New York and Greenwich-based fine jewelry house Serpentine Jewels , even went as far as pricing the ring at a whopping $2.5 million .

"We've seen so many celebrity engagement rings lately that are about unusual cuts, antique stones or really distinctive settings," Galgano said. "This one feels almost like a throwback to the great celebrity engagement rings of the 2000s — the enormous center stone, the classic solitaire setting, and absolutely no attempt to be understated. It's unapologetically a big-diamond engagement ring, and there's something fun about seeing that kind of maximalism again."

Malone, born Austin Post, and Lee were first linked after they were spotted together in March 2025. A month later, the pair were seen going to dinner at high-end steakhouse Beefbar in Paris. Days later, the pair stepped out for a shopping spree in Paris.

The news of their relationship came amid speculation that Malone and his former fiancée, Hee Sung "Jamie" Park , had split. The former couple were engaged in 2021, after the "Finer Things" singer popped the question in Las Vegas, he confirmed in a 2023 interview with Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast . In May 2022, he revealed that he and Park were expecting their first child together .

Lee is a fashion stylist and creative director, according to her website , and she attended Parsons School of Design in New York City. It's not known how she and Malone met.
