"My friends are very respectful of my situation. You know, if I'm like, 'We're going somewhere,' they already understand what it is," Savannah said on the Monday, September 28 episode of "Mental Wealth."

She continued, "There's no expectation of, like, taking care of something or, you know, just having me be responsible for them. It has never, ever been that."

As the conversation continued, Savannah's friend, McDaniel, revealed that their lifestyles are different. She said the differences show up when they travel, explaining that she flies business class while Savannah flies first class.

"We talk about this a lot because there's two different lifestyles that exist," said McDaniel. "Like we're not delusional to that. And I think Savannah has accommodated where I'm at."

McDaniel and Savannah have been spotted together on lavish trips and outings before. The pair even spoke about shopping together at luxury stores while abroad. However, McDaniel said that those trips take advance planning.

"We're planning out. Like, we don't just show up at Fashion Week week-of. We don't move like that even though people think we do," she said.

While money has never been a point of contention between the pair, McDaniel said some outsiders have been overly critical of their relationship.

"People were very critical of her being in first [class] and me being in business and me going up to first and getting in her bed and watching a movie. It was, like, offended," she said.

Savannah and McDaniel's statements went viral and prompted passionate responses from users who felt Savannah wasn't doing enough while being married to a certified billionaire.

"If I ever become a billionaire, my friends gone ball with me. Anybody agreeing with Savannah James is not a good friend, period. I'm done going back and forth with you," one person shared.

"I want y'all to keep in mind that it's her HUSBAND's money… idk if y'all forgetting but technically, LeBron is funding the flights. Now, a lot of us may make sure we both fly first class, but to sit up here and tell her how to spend her HUSBAND'S money is nuts.

According to The Blast , LeBron also takes protecting his money very seriously.

On a podcast, LeBron said he doesn't play when it comes to business. He added that when he met his financial advisor, the advisor gave him a stern warning.

"My financial advisor, the first thing I told him when he wanted to manage my money was, 'If you steal my money, bro, or if I'm broke, bro, I'm letting you know, bro, it ain't going to be good for you,'" he said.
