Meet Barron Trump's college girlfriend — all we know about 6ft 9 student's life on campus
Donald Trump's son, Barron, reportedly has a college girlfriend and here's what we know about his love life
Barron Trump, son of US President Donald Trump, has reportedly been quietly dating a girlfriend he met at New York University for over a year now.
Barron transferred to NYU's DC campus in September 2026 to be closer to his parents, but it is unclear if he is still dating the woman.
Despite being described as shy and reserved, Barron Trump has shown a bold and entertaining personality, impressing guests at a dinner event in 2025.
Barron Trump , the 20-year-old son of the President of the United States, was perhaps the most eligible bachelor at New York University - until now!
The college student has reportedly found love with a girlfriend whom he met at college, with multiple outlets reporting that the pair have been quietly dating for over a year now
While not much is known about the woman in question, Barron spent the first year of college studying at New York University's Stern School of Business which is based on the Greenwich Village campus. He didn't live on campus but instead commuted from Trump Tower in Manhattan
In October 2024, Donald appeared on the PBD podcast and was quizzed over his son's love life, admitting at the time he was not sure Barron was "there yet," adding: " I don't think he's had a girlfriend yet."
However, in September 2026 it was confirmed that Barron had transferred to the school's DC campus for at least one semester to be closer to his mother and father. It is unclear if he is still dating the woman.
Interest in Barron's dating life began when a TikToker named Maddie said Barron was her "first BF" when they attended high school together.
She posted a video that featured clips of herself and Barron together, and claimed they'd broken up when Barron moved to attend St. Andrews Potomac in Virginia.
Barron has been linked to other 'girlfriends' in the past, including Sarah Claire and a model Klara Jones, who is two years older than him.
While Barron prefers to stay out of the spotlight, and has long been touted as "shy and reserved," it appears that is no longer the case. In 2025, Barron spoke about his father during a dinner at Mar-a-Lago and guests were blown away by his boldness.
American entrepreneur, Patrick Bet-David, attended the event, along with Tom Ellsworth and actor and comedian Vincent Oshana.
They dissected what they witnessed on an episode of Patrick's PBD podcast when they recalled watching "Barron run dinner with stories, entertainment, everything," for 90 minutes straight.
"I've never seen Tom laugh this hard for an hour and a half," Patrick said.
Vincent was left in awe of the teen's ability to keep the audience's attention and said: "He's 18. He's witty, smart, hilarious. He was smart on politics. He's like 'You know, everybody's always going to fight. There's left. There's right.'"
Vincent said Barron has a "good head on his shoulders." He was also branded: "Sharp, funny, sarcastic and tough."
Barron's first year in New York City was not the usual first year for a college students. Reports claimed that he was unable to make friends or enjoy a normal life as he was shadowed 24/7 by security and entered and exited the building through garages and secret doors.
Kaya Walker, the then-president of the NYU College Republicans, said in a 2025 interview that Barron was an "oddity" who "goes to class, he goes home." Other students claimed that they had invited him to pick-up basketball games and although he was interested he never confirmed plans.
